A childhood friend of Einar, dealer Hans Axgil (Schoenaerts), appears and begins a complex love triangle with the couple.
He feels comfortable in his own skin, "usually seen as a compliment. It means that the person in question knows that he (or she) is and is content with that sense of identity. I dare to speculate that this is a condition to which we all aspire. Unfortunately, many people in the world lack that inner peace due to the issue of gender identity. Regardless of what others think about a situation existential, people who are uncomfortable with the biology they were born often suffer much in this conflict within their hearts and minds. they can not be comfortable in your own skin because they feel that their skin is actually yours. Before the more enlightened times the 21st century, people who are identified with a gender other than that for which biology assigns them suffered even more than some do today. in the past, these people had little opportunity to make changes that would make you see themselves on the outside, as they felt inside. "The Danish Girl" (I, 2:00) is one of those stories.
Reviews The Danish Girl bluray best romantic movie 2015.
You inspired by the true story of the early 20th century married Danish artists Einar and Gerda Wegener, like the book of David Ebershoff 2000 on which it is based, "The Danish Girl" is a physical fictional account of transition Einar Lili He be. Neither the book nor the script by Lucinda Coxon makes no claim to absolute historical accuracy. This story changes many of the facts for dramatic purposes. The real-life situation of life and Lili Gerda was much more complicated than what we see on screen. The result is a film that tells a simple story in a way that provokes empathy for the characters and enlightens the audience.
Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne plays Einar / Lili, and Alicia Vikander, his wife, Gerda. The couple lives in a large apartment in Copenhagen, Denmark, where both make a living picture. At first, Einar landscapes are more in demand and more respected than the portraits of Gerda. One day when Gerda was in a hurry to finish a portrait of their mutual friend and dancer Oola (Amber Heard), Gerda asked Einar to be a model, putting on stockings and heels Oola and holding dress Oola before him. Although the scene is played with a combination of humor and clumsiness, it is obvious that Einar likes clothes. He starts trying on the clothes of his wife giving birth to an idea. Gerda is a bit controversial, but being an open-minded person that she is, she suggests that her husband dressed as a best romantic movie woman to attend a function of the art world had been trying to avoid. And like, Lili was born.
The fact is that Einar had always felt like a woman and be Lili was the first time he had really had to express what she felt was her true gender. Einar wears women's clothing and makeup more and more often, both at home and in public. Lili even secretly begins to see a local man named Henrik (Ben Whishaw). Gerda is understandably upset by all this, but she never criticizes the inner turmoil of her husband or their external manifestations. She wants to understand, and the more you do, the more she mourns her marriage, which she sees as best romantic movie escaping. However, as all this happens, he began his art career to take off. She paints Lili increasingly in fashionable clothes and little or no clothing. As Gerda style develops, the growing demand for his paintings soon leads the couple to move to Paris.
In Paris, flowers Lili as a person, even while seeking a more permanent to her feeling that biology does not match your identity solution. She sees doctors whose diagnoses are varied but mainly focus on Einar / Lili have some sort of mental deficiency. Hans Axgil (Schoenaerts) a childhood friend of Einar, tries to help, but can do little more to offer moral support to the couple. Finally, Lili and Gerda find a possible solution in the person of German physician Kurt Warnekros (Sebastian Koch). Dr. Warnekros offered to perform a sex change operation Lili virtually unprecedented.
"The Danish Girl" is a sensitive portrait of a very tumultuous life experience of two real people. Whether you sympathize with the situation of the two main characters or not, it is likely to empathize with them as people. While presenting a romantic story on the controversial issue of gender identity, Oscar-winning director Tom Hooper also has a very human story in the context of the plot of the film. In essence, it is a story of love and loss, tolerance, and devotion, to ... feel comfortable in your own skin best romantic movie. While some moviegoers may find some situations, images and brief but graphic nudity (both sexes) to be annoying, and the plot does drag at times, one of the main reasons to see this film is Award- for worthy performances of the two leads. With the impressive emotional range and depth, both Redmayne and Vikander make this surprisingly rich history and relevant. Hooper attracts, even more, focus (literally) on the feelings of the characters choosing particularly significant moments to bring your camera in close proximity to a tight focus on the faces of the characters while allowing all beyond their necks to go out of focus. "The Danish Girl" deserves credit for his honesty, his emotional power and succinct presentation of a very complicated story. However, some of the changes in the story seem designed to increase the impact of history, a move I call emotionally manipulative. For this and other reasons, only I wish this excellent film was historically accurate.
